A place where you can come often got lunch / dinner. Here's very spacious and they are fast to serve all the dish ordered. Food is nice especially the claypot curry prawn !! Their service is good and they even let us enter and have our lunch earlier than the listed opening hours instead of asking us to wait for another half an hour👍 Price is not the cheapest in town but reasonable

2/4 dishes were good. The Indonesian prawns and stir fried vegetables. The squid wasn’t crispy at all, it was already quite soggy when it was served. Not sure if it’s the batter that they use but maybe try it first? If it’s deep fried, the batter is just not working. We were recommended the specialty home made tofu, but honestly it just tasted like any other tofu from a normal Choo char place. Nothing special. The ambra drink was as little watered down too. Good thing is the service.

It was just an okay experience, and I found the food to be pretty average as well. The only dish that I feel nice is the Indonesian prawn curry. The rest are just very average. The 3 cups chicken is even cook with wrong recipe. It’s always nice to try new places, even if they don’t always meet our expectations. Let’s pick a different spot next time and hopefully have a better culinary adventure!

Brought my family over for early lunch right around 11.15am. We were the first on Sunday morning, the servers greeted us and directed us to the table of the day, number 8, Huat ah. Right after we were seated, they passed us the menu and explain the set meal and ala carte options. There were many ala carte dishes at your choice, in the end, we went for the set C meal since there is a promotion comes free tea and crab meat shark fin soup that made today of 7 dishes a course. The set come with fish, chicken, pork, prawn, beancurd, vegetables and nevertheless, soup. Just the 4 of us I must say it is a feast. I eyed on another salad but the waitress ask us better consider later, it was a good advise to us. Finally we finished them all up to 95%, left over vege, lesser the sin. After all it was a satisfying meal with family, the taste never cease to amaze me everytime we visit!

Food is delicious, service is good, and nice atmosphere, great place to bring kids. But im not sure why they got 1 or 2 stars review. The price of the food were expected to be revised from the old shop, considering the current inflation :) You can be expecting to pay rm 10 for a plate of vegetables right? I have been patronising this shop since 10 years ago, and still good.

This place has been a classic among locals. The most famous is the Indonesian prawn The other classic dishes like fish and fried crispy kailan is also good. I tried their cheese tofu (something which I never tried before here) and it was spectacular as well. Food here is really good and price wise I would say that it is acceptable.

The renowned dishes by Double Good from Auto-City are now back in Penang. We ordered their set B for 2-3 pax menu, which consists of Indonesian Curry Prawn, Fried Yau Mak, Steamed Thai Style Siakap, Fried Tofu in Soya Sauce and additionally we ordered a Char Hor Fun too. This set comes with a free flow of Chinese tea. We also ordered a Ai Yi Ping (Iced Lemon Dessert). This restaurant is suitable for all size groups of people (small to large to huge group).
